Terms and Conditions1. Booking and PaymentAll bookings require a valid Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Revolut credit card, or payment via Bizum. For online bookings, payment may be made through a secure payment gateway or by bank transfer. All bookings must be paid in full in advance.2. Minimum Rental PeriodThe minimum rental period is one day, meaning 24 hours, starting at the time specified in the rental agreement. If the motorcycle is returned late, the fee specified in Section 11 will apply.3. Return ConditionsOne rental day equals 24 hours. For example, if the motorcycle is collected at 10:00, it must be returned by 10:00 on the return date specified in the rental agreement.
Hourly or partial-day rentals are not available. If the motorcycle is returned early, no refund will be provided for unused rental days.
4. Availability GuaranteeOnce the booking has been confirmed, the Renter will receive an email confirming the availability of the selected motorcycle.
However, MotoLife Canarias reserves the right to replace the booked motorcycle due to unforeseen circumstances, such as a technical failure, accident damage or theft.
If no motorcycle of a similar value is available, the price difference will be refunded. This refund represents the full extent of MotoLife Canarias’ liability.
5. Cancellation and Date Changes

Cancellation policy:

  • More than 30 days before the rental begins: no charge
  • 29–15 days before the rental begins: 30% of the rental price
  • 14–8 days before the rental begins: 50% of the rental price
  • 7–1 days before the rental begins: 80% of the rental price
  • Failure to appear on the rental start date: 100% of the rental price

Date changes:

The Renter may change the rental dates once, provided that MotoLife Canarias is informed at least 7 working days in advance. The new rental dates must fall within the following 3 months.

A fee equal to 20% of the original rental price will be charged for changing the dates, with a minimum fee of €100.

6. Force MajeureIf the rental cannot begin or must be interrupted due to circumstances beyond the parties’ control, such as a natural disaster, war, strike or global health crisis, the following rule will apply:
Before the rental begins, MotoLife Canarias will retain the amount already paid as credit for a future motorcycle rental.
7. Renter’s Obligations

The Renter agrees to use the motorcycle responsibly and comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations.

During the rental period, the Renter must regularly check the engine oil level, coolant level, tyre pressure, tyre condition and drive-chain tension.

The Renter must have:

  • A valid passport or identity card
  • A valid international driving permit

The Renter is responsible for all fines, penalties and administrative charges imposed during the rental period. An additional administration fee of €25 will be charged for each fine.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • Allowing unauthorised persons to use the motorcycle
  • Riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Using the motorcycle for commercial purposes or competitions
  • Riding off-road, on beaches or on racetracks
  • Making technical or visual modifications to the motorcycle
  • Applying stickers, painting or installing accessories, such as GoPro mounts, without prior approval
  • Taking the motorcycle off the island

MotoLife Canarias may charge a cleaning fee of €20 if adhesive residue or unauthorised changes to the motorcycle’s appearance are found.

8. Rental Company’s Obligations and LiabilityMotoLife Canarias will provide a motorcycle that is mechanically sound, clean and fully roadworthy, together with all required documents and tools.
Any existing damage must be documented with photographs. Any repairs carried out during the rental period must be authorised in advance by MotoLife Canarias.
The Rental Company’s liability for failure to fulfil the agreement is limited to the value of the rental. Any further claims are excluded unless the damage results from deliberate misconduct or gross negligence.
We offer a free transfer or customer pick-up service when the motorcycle is rented for more than 2 days and the pick-up location is within a 25 km radius of our location.
9. Renter’s Liability for Damage

The Renter is responsible for all damage, loss or reduction in the motorcycle’s value from the moment of collection until its return, except for normal wear resulting from proper use.

This liability includes accidents, improper use and negligence.

Example of tyre damage:

If a new tyre costs €150 and the damaged tyre had 50% of its tread remaining, the Renter must pay €75. Photographs will be taken before and after the rental to compare the condition of the tyre.

The Renter is fully responsible for:

  • Damage caused by riding off-road, on beaches or on racetracks
  • Improper use, including wheel spinning, causing flat spots, riding with a nail in the tyre or continuing to ride with a flat tyre
  • Excessive wear of the clutch or tyres
  • Loss of or damage to accessories and equipment, including helmets, keys and clothing

If the motorcycle becomes unusable due to the Renter’s actions, the Renter will not be entitled to a replacement motorcycle or reimbursement of any costs.

10. Accident or Damage

In the event of an accident, loss or damage, the Renter must:

  • Immediately contact MotoLife Canarias by telephone
  • Not arrange towing or repairs without prior approval
  • Contact the police in the event of an accident
  • Collect all available evidence and the contact details of witnesses
  • Report all warning lights and technical faults
  • Not admit liability or make any payment that could affect insurance coverage
11. Returning the Motorcycle

The motorcycle must be returned in the same condition in which it was provided, with all accessories, documents and a full fuel tank.

Otherwise, a refuelling fee of €20 will be charged in addition to the cost of the fuel.

Additional charges:

  • €25 administration fee for each fine
  • €25 for collection or return delayed by up to one hour
  • If the delay exceeds one hour, an additional rental day will be charged
  • €150 for lost vehicle documents
  • €20 for excessive dirt or cleaning

MotoLife Canarias may terminate the rental agreement without prior notice in the event of a serious breach, including providing false information or using the motorcycle improperly. In such cases, the motorcycle must be returned immediately.

12. Travel InsuranceMotoLife Canarias strongly recommends purchasing travel, medical, accident and trip cancellation insurance.13. Typographical and Calculation ErrorsMotoLife Canarias reserves the right to correct any typographical, clerical, accounting or calculation errors at any time.14. Security Deposit Policy – Canarian MotoLifeAt Canarian MotoLife, the safety of our motorcycles and providing customers with a smooth rental experience are our highest priorities.
As part of the rental agreement, a security deposit ranging from €200 to €2,000 is required for each motorcycle, depending on the model. The deposit is processed when the motorcycle is collected from our office.
We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express debit and credit cards, as well as Revolut and Bizum. Maestro cards are not accepted.
The deposit amount will be temporarily blocked on the payment card for the duration of the rental through a pre-authorisation.
After the motorcycle has been returned, provided that no damage is found, the security deposit hold will be released within a maximum of 3 working days.
